MADI is a great option for
extending router channels around your facility. Every audio channel on a
MADI card can be sent to any type of card in your router, the reverse works as well,
and any input in the router can then be sent down the MADI to
your destination, be it a Digital Audio Workstation, Console or other
device with MADI I/O.

Modular MADI coax and Fiber Optic Length Extenders
We also offer this in our own format that will
transport 64 or 128 channels. This is great for large facilities that have
studios all over a building. Just put a small frame with a remote board in
it and the I/O type modules you need, and you will end up with the router connections
near or in the studios. You will save a ton of money in the wiring and labor
costs to install this. All you will need is a couple of coax cables
instead of hundreds of pairs of audio cable between the remote frames and
your Master Control/Rack Room. Think of this as sub-frames to the main
router. As far as the router and the control system knows it thinks it's
all one big router. Only YOU know Differently.
